Safety Apprentice
In this job, you will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing safety activities. It is the perfect job for someone who likes to be involved in a variety of activities. Whether you're talking about giving safety briefings to organizations or inspecting safety practices in an organization, there is a lot of diversity in this career field. If you're looking for a career field where you can be out and about, then this is the job for you. You will be responsible for managing the entire safety program within your organization or even basewide. You'll be reviewing purchase orders and work requests for inclusion of safety criteria. Part of your job will be to perform trend analysis and recommend what steps to take in correcting unfavorable conditions or procedures. You will learn the principles of safety education, industrial safety, how to interpret blueprints and mishap investigations, just to name a few. Safety is a career field used by most large corporations (safety director) so lends itself very well to civilian employment. PAY CHART
