| A City Created Just For You Each Air Force base is a city created specifically for its citizens—Air Force personnel. In other words, everything you need to do your job and enjoy your free time is right on base. You may even choose to live on base in one of our dorms or family homes. Air Force bases are most often located in beautiful and exciting locations—so feel free to hit the town! But if you're interested in tax-free shopping, team sports, and relaxing in the pool, you'll find yourself spending extra time on base.
